Itinerary:

7:30 a.m: Our tour guide and driver pick up you at your hotel in Hue City then move to Quang Tri the province was divided to be two in the war

Quang Tri Citadel: Arriving Quang Tri town, your first stop will be Quang Tri citadel, built in 1928 and destroyed in 1972 in Easter Offensive. You will have the first view of the conflict from the most spiritually meaningful place in the south of DMZ

A Photo stop from the road to The Rockpile Hill, a solitary limestone outcropping north of the Road No.9 and south of the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Its relatively inaccessible location, reached only by helicopter, made it a substantial US Army and US Marine Corps observation post and artillery base from 1966 to 1969

Khe Sanh combat base – Ta Con Airport: The combat base used to be one of the most critical places built at any cost in the south of DMZ by Americans, hoping to control and prevent infiltration of North Vietnam. The Khe Sanh battle was broadcasted worldwide in 1968, where American veterans came back to memorize the past and their friends lying down.

Lunch at a local restaurant or a simple break with Pho noodles

Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River: on the 17th Parallel was set to be the provisional demarcation between the North–Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the South – State of Vietnam. It took 22 years, instead of 2 years as planned, for both sides of the country to join again. The Geneva Conventions on Vietnam (besides Korea and Laos, Cambodia in Indochina) signed in 1954 divided Vietnam into North and South, where the river runs through the central province of Quang Tri.

Vinh Moc Tunnel: The highlight point of the tour to Vietnam DMZ. The complex of tunnels was built within 10 months and used from 1967 to 1973 as bomb shelters.
